There are plenty of coin dealers in the UK, go see one. Some of the bigger ones, even advertise here in the States.

UK Go into any good book shop and buy a small book which deals with coins, I bought one and was disappointed to find my inherited collection was worthless. The book was about Â£3.50, the coins worth Â£2.30 so I lost out. And for that lot of coins, they have to be in mint condition, ie never used.
