I love when liberals bring up right and wrong or morals. In liberalism there is no moral compass, since it is what ever the individual feels is right.
1. We need liberals since we are all individuals and have different view points.
2. Liberalism is about change and some change is good. The problem occurs when they think that we should change for the sake of change, which isn't a good idea.
Just as a married couple are often opposites, it is those opposites that help this nation grow. If we were all the same, then most of us wouldn't be needed. We may have different idiologies, but we all want the same thing. For America to be great and free.
Sure my ultra conservative side tells me that people should be personally responcible, but if not for liberals, those that fall on hard times may just get left to rot. At the same time, if it were just up to Libs, those that fell would never get back up. For why would someone look to excel if they would still get treated and compensated the same as the one who is lazy.

Target practice! & Alternative fuel.
I really didn't believe in global warming until I listened to a liberal...now I believe...I believe the hot air from the liberals is the reason for global warming.
You know how many liberals it takes to shingle a roof?
It depends on how thin you slice they!!!!

Maybe the question is not why we NEED anyone, but that we all ARE here and the government serves the people. So everyone has a right to speak out. It's not just the conservatives' government, or the liberals'. We all share it and have to make it work.
Plus, I sometimes make fun of liberals too. :)

you almost had a great question.. but in the end we poke fun at you too so I suppose it's all fair.. as long as it's all light hearted....
but yes, to keep each other in check we need either no parties (not realistic) or more than one... otherwise you don't have representation... and you run the risk of falling into an extremist point of view (that would work both ways).

I) To have a second opinion on issues, rather than becoming an borderline-fascist state where everybody thinks the exact same.
II) Because you have no control over their existance; they are a belief and according to the Bill of Rights, different beliefs are allowable.
But I'm sure my answers are too liberal for you. Go ahead and choose someone crammed with the retarded and twisted ideologies of the wide-pocketed pundits. You can tell from Norm's answer that he's braindead from being stuffed with cheap rhetoric, so I'm sure he's a good candidate.

DMX, I'm asking all of my Fellow Conservatives to take the anger and hostility out of our Questions and answers. I'm asking Liberals, also. But if we start doing it? They'll follow suit. Keep looking for the facts. Not blame. Lets try to find the solutions to the answers. Not who's better than whom. Good Luck. Hope to see you at Election time. We're gonna need you.
