hi

It depends where you are!

1,000,000,000 in the USA [one thousand million]
1,000,000,000,000 in the UK [one million million]

It is the same with trillion:

1,000,000,000,000 in the USA [one million million]

or

1,000,000,000,000,000,000 in the UK [one million million million]

So it is better to be a UK billionaire :)

1000 millions in a billion 1000 billions in a trillon

1 billion =10^9 = 1000 000 000 so 9 zeroes

1 trillion =10^12 = 1000 000 000 000 so 12 zeroes

1,000 to both questions.
There are 1,000 millions in a billion, and 1,000 millions in a trillion.

Each one adds three zeros.

So a thousand has 3 zeros.
A million has 6 zeros.
A billion has 9 zeros.
A trillion has 12 zeros.
