Home Depot, Lowes and Pool supply companies have propane. You have to buy the first tank, then each time after you can exchange the tanks or have it refilled.

The cost is around $12-20 per fill. Shop around. The prices vary a lot.

Check you local listings since some service stations have propane available. Also try a Mobile Home, Travel Trailer or Marine supply if you live near water.

Try a gas station. Most chains like Shell or Mobile will have cages outside containing propane. You can purchase them inside the store. I prefer charcoal, but I think they are about 10-15 dollars.

If you have your own tank, U-Haul rentals sell propane. If no tank, then you can do exchange deal at many places. To me, the price is high though.
