lol I wasn't asking for myself by the way. I was asking for a friend or two that don't believe me. Thanks to all who answered this question! (my friends now believe me, oh and if you have friends that disbelieve being a gentleman is effective, show them this)

Yes! It shows respect, manners, maturity etc...I've dated men who were the opposite and thought for awhile it was ok, until things got old and we couldn't get along anymore. The person I'm with now does exactly what you've just mentioned above, and he's nine years older than me, def old school =). We honestly can't imagine being without each other =) It's just because of that, we have plenty of chemistry between us as well, which makes all the difference in the world.

Yes all of us women like it when you gentlemen open doors for us, look in our eyes, and tell us that you love us. Also when you gentlemen cook a nice dinner for us every once in a while and you want to be romantic. We women all like it when you gentlemen are very romantic.

I think it's great when guys act like gentlemen. Shows they have respect for women. From what I've noticed, a lot of men still act this way.

of course they do! girls love being treated like something special. But don't over do it. lol. We have a rule at our house, guys open doors and girls open pop cans for them.

YES. It shows us that you are considerate and care about us. But if you're just doing it because you feel like that's what you're supposed to do, it comes across as fake, and that's no good.

dude, i think girls go for guys who are the gentlemen type...
It flatters them, it gives them respect. And it what most of the women want. They deserve it!!!
