if nothing happened between you two feel happy because now you know why he didn't like you :)
if something did happen between you two then feel happy because you got to him and he did like you to try and see if it would work for him.

Well there is no right or wrong feeling. What you should feel how you want, if ur angry be angry, if ur embarrassed, be embarrassed. After the initial shock is over, try understanding how hard it must have been for him to have told you he was gay, or to have you find out. It is hard these days, plenty of people are judgemental ---Dnt be one of them.
After all, did he even know you liked him like that? And its not like he went gay to hurt you, he couldnt help it, and he shouldnt be made to feel guilty for it. If he didnt lead you on or give you false hopes then it is in no way his fault... and you will live!!! Move on, or just be his freind, he would appreciate that.
It was a crush. not ur boyfriend, this is actually probably much more about him than you. Accept it and move on.

Ask him if there's a possibility that he may be BI, if he is, then you can still have some fun with him. If not, you just found a new shopping buddy! Gay guys are great fun!
