I think it's sort of like this Tokyo fashion, something like clothing mismatch. But I esp love people wearing black tights under short mini skirt. I am 20, and my mum thinks I am too old for such fashion, so what do you guys think?

Personally, I don't think tose tights should have ever come back in style from the 80's, but I think to the public most people could pull it off. And, I think mini-skirts are fine for you age, but the tights.. not so much.

I havwe 8 mini skirts and its a must to wear black tights with them . the only thing is if the mini is white then probably should go with white stockings

Girlfriend, 20 is not too old for any fashion. If you feel confident that the style flatters you, go for it.
By the way, most of this season's trends are stee-raight from the eighties.

One outfit I think is way cute is similar to what you describe. A short greyish skirt with pleats, white sweater, and black tights. Hard to go wrong with that.

good god...too old!!! well, i`m way past 20 & i wear whatever i like, including short miniskirts or whatever...there`s no such thing as "age appropriate" clothing in my book!!! wear what u want, who cares??? it`s all about what u like, not what other people like or think u should wear!!!
