I honestly would back out of that situation. He has you on the side while he's married. Of course he "wants you close". It's never a good idea to get involved with a married man. I would simply let him know you appreciate his friendship, but that's all and explain things can't continue and explain why. He's going to get upset because he's loosing his side kick, (not to sound disrespectful)but he's being disprespectul for keeping you around when he's married. Now if his behavior changes into stalking or anything like that, don't mess around with that. Good Luck!

He wants to get in your pants. Do not fall for this one.
You are doing right by keeping him away and not leting him get too close.
Tell him:" I'm sorry but I don't want to be involved with a married man and I'm not interested in a platonic relationship. I respect the santicty of marriage and so should do".
Good luck

I would interpret that as he is a cheater and you should stick to what you told him. Good for you though it's nice to know there are still people in the world who think marriage means something!

He wants you and he wants first dibs on you. He wants an affair. This is semantic nonsense, if he were honest he would say "I want to have a relationship with you, I want sex regularly with you" but he has to word it in some pseudo-romantic way that seems non-threatening. You did the right thing, and deserve kudos for that! Take care.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You are nothing more then a homewrecker.Stop and think about how you would feel if you were married and your husband was going out to eat with another woman..Don't think you would like it..You should have more respect for yourself and for that man's wife,,

He wants his cake and to eat it too.
Don't fall for that BS that he's in an unhappy marriage and that his wife just doesn't understand him the way you do.
The guy is being manipulative and knows you've got the hots for him and he is going to take advantage of that.
Put yourself if his wife's shoes. What if this were your husband? Would you appreciate him screwing around outside your marriage?

He is certainly having feelings for you. I think you should move away, if he is married and he can still say all these things, have you thought of how much respect you can give this person?
