Oh by far Odessa! I had to spend my summers in Midland(parents divorced) and I would always ask my Mom "what did I do wrong? why do you hate me?" because Midland/Odessa is such a God awful town. I would always beg my Dad to 'Please move!!". Then the oil boom came....I wasn't begging anymore!But it is an ugly part of Texas, that's for sure! Oh and don't drink the tap water either! YIKES!!

I'd say Texas City with all those refineries polluting up the air. But if they were shut down plenty of people would be squawking loud and clear. I live in Texas and it is like a whole other country, but some towns really go to the head of the line when it comes to being just plain awful. Odessa is one, and please throw Laredo in the mix too.

Odessa,plus it reeks of nasty odors..whew!
Ya know I wasn't much impressed with El Paso either,kinda dirty,messy place..
Its a whole 'nother country....
