Right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab> Device Manager, and you should see a problem with your Network adapter. Highlight it, try to have windows search for the correct driver on your XP disk.

If you can not find the correct driver you could also use a Novell NE 2000 as that is supposed to be the generic driver for most network cards as a temporary fix, but you really need to find the correct driver for the card.

you will need to find out the make and model of your network card, and download a driver for it.

Right click on My Computer and go to Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager, and you should see a problem with your Network adapter. Highlight it, try to have windows search for the correct driver on your XP disk.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to try again by pointing to the driver that you downloaded from the manufacturers web site.

well your missing your driver for that network card and im guessing all of your other drivers for your computer also.

depending on the brand you can goto the website (on another computer) and download all the drivers for your computer. write down your model number and any revisions for it also.

you'll want chipset, audio, network, and video are your "basic" drivers.

I'm assuming that you've already installed the right drives for the NIC card. If not, download them from the manufacturer's website...
