it depends on the type of person.
A person that has no guilt or remorse for their actions, deserves to be severely punished

Hun,they are one in the same. Going out of your way to make someone feel guilty IS an attempt at punishing them. If you don't want to punish someone,then move on from the situation and don't look back.
