I agree it means superimposed, and that can not be done
with a square & a triangle.

As I remember, the word "congruent" means exactly the same shape and size. This being so, a square and a triangle are not congruent.

No, they can't. (Except it be a point triangle and point square)
If 2 figures be congruent, all of its angles must equal.
But a triangle's angle has sum 180deg.
And a square has 360 deg.
So it can't be.

defenetly not....polygons must have the exact same number of sides with the exact same side lengths to be congruent..

yes if congruent still means "equal sides"
I been away 2 long. Goin back to 3rd grade tomorow.
