some old married men seem to be creeps to me. They do not complain to me but my husband tells me all the stories they come up with about their unhappy married lives. He also say they cheat on their wives with younger girls. I think they are just horney little old men who need to grow up or just leave their wives.

Here's why - you are flirting with them. If they weren't picking up the signals that you send out that you want them to talk to you, they wouldn't be talking to you. Women can make it *very* clear that they are not open to that kind of talk in the workplace. You choose not to make it clear. But hey, you *love* attention from men, right? Especially married men since you can flirt and then go "oh no you're married it was all in fun."
We've all got a couple of attention whores like you where we work - it's free entertainment to see them flit from unaware sap to unaware sap at staff meetings (especially the new guys), dying to be noticed.

Well some think they canjust tell anybody anything. But be nice and tell him you don't want to know nothing about his personal life and he shoudl take the hint. SO next time when he's about to say something just tell him or make up some ground rules if he wants to be your friend.

Well you seem like a sweet lady so they think they can talk to you. You need to just say "I'm sorry but that is none of my business" or just tell then you rather talk about something else! They should understand. It might just be that they have no other women in they're lives to talk to it about.
I would say, just tell them to stop and if they don't, you should just walk away. It's they're problem, not yours.

I think that guy was feeling you out to see if you'd jump at the chance to be with him.
And how would a conversation with his wife hinder his ability to shower properly? That guy is a little odd.

They see you as attractive and younger.
They feel 'less old' when talking to you.
And being older than you....they have less inhibitions....and to them nothings off-limits in a discussion.
Just tell them you aren't the one they should be talking to.

Usually they do this to fish for sympathy. They figure if you show some sympathy, maybe they have a chance of getting into your pants.
