I did my bachelors degree in electrical and electronics engineering (aggregate:82%, MNM Jain Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai). My GRE score is 1540(770+770), TOEFL iBt(115/120). I had a state math olympiad rank (rank 15) while in high school. I was the secreatary of Association of EE engineers in my college). Please evaluate my chances.

It would certainly appear that you are qualified. This means that you would probably get into some good engineering graduate program in the US. As for Cornell? Only they can tell you. I can tell you that there are more qualified candidates than there are available positions. Good candidates get rejected all the time -- so there is no sure thing.

Good luck.

you've a slender shot. no individual in spite of ways properly they do is a cert at such colleges. They reject those with a lot extra valuable grades etc than yours. yet you've a shot - at a wager - oh about 10%. thanks bill
