I can understand why people might think that since we do not seem to be able to send people to the Moon today that it must have been impossible 40 years ago. After all, what else did we ever do and then loose the ability to do again? Oh, maybe building pyramids for example. The reason is the same. Technology may be better today, but it is still really expensive to build a pyramid or send a rocket to the Moon, and not enough people think it is worth the cost to give the required amount of money to do it again.
Don't believe those crazy people who say the landings were fake. They were very VERY real. See the source for lots of detail, including many video clips and thousands of pictures.

We have, eve if the firtst lunar landing was fake, we have landed a lot of other people on the Moon, the last being around 21 years ago. Now NASA has decided to park all its shuttle missions in a low Earth orbit.
I don't believe conspiracy theories about the Moon or anything else for that matter, there isn't any reason why they would be false, except to have nutters publish books about the subject and look like fools.

The we didn't land on the moon story was started by the Flat Earth Society. When we came back with photos of a round earth, they claimed it was all done in a studio. Then years later that scientific giant the Fox network did their stupid "documentary based on the story. I don't think we spend 28 billion dollars, 12 years and hired 250,000 people to make a movie. If you believe it was fake, your society is waiting for you. I'm not sure how much the dues are.

Men first walked upon the Moon 7/20/69. Neil Armstrong was the first one. Buzz Aldrin soon joined him. It is silly to0 say this a hoax. Ockham's razor is a principle of Logic that cuts down silly conspiracy theories such as this one. I have seen a couple of TV shows about this. The one that says the Moon landing is faked has been refuted.

To think that we cannot achieve such greatness seems preposterous. Anyhow I've put a link below that goes over everything so you can make up your own mind.
But it seems sad that we have this drive towards mediocrity.
Also it's a moot point, we've started shooting for the moon again, I believe the Japanese Space Agency is going to be looking at the original moon landing site. This would also be a huge waste of millions of dollars for them if they thought it was a hoax.

Yes, six times. The bizarre and scientifically illiterate claim that the Apollo program was a hoax is nonsense. Using the same method of argument, you could argue that Paris Hilton is a hoax and doesn't really exist either.

You'll see alot of answers saying it was a hoax. If you like to believe that, enjoy. If you want the truth, you can actually rent time on a major telescope and view the laser experiment that the astronauts left behind that is still working.

Why are all you nitwits here trying to spread the big lie that the U.S. never landed men on the moon?
How about you actually look at some real science and history, instead of the conspiracy theory websites that are just so much bulls**t.
Try these sites for starters:
www.badastronomy.com
www.clavius.org
Now, there's some REAL science, not some dope-induced fantasies.

We landed on the moon. The conspiracy theorists should take their medications and get off their computers. You can make anything sound reasonable if you tell enough lies. I challenge any group to bring forth a single witness to the conspiracy, just one. It cannot be done because there was no conspiracy.

Not really .If they have landed there ,why are they are not ready for another moon mission.Ok ,we can believe that americans had enough with that moon mission, but what about countries like Russia who is tecnologically equal or superior to Americans. Why they haven't gone to moon if Americans did.The reason is that its not easy to go to moon even now. They faked the entire moon mission to get an upper hand in cold war.
