i like doing both...if u are a fan of a particular artist, u like to be able to have their music in your hands, to check out the inserts with the artwork, etc, so i still buy the cds of my favorite groups...other artists that i`m not so fanatical about, i just download their stuff...

Well yes both are good but buying a Cd off of iTunes you do not have to pay tax and you could pre- order it brfore it comes out. iTunes also has new songs even before they come out on the radio that you could buy. While buying a cd from a store you have to pay tax and maybe have to wait until the cd comes in stock. either way u get a cd that you like

I agree with you that both are good. I personally prefer Yahoo Music Unlimited. There seems to be a better selection of music than iTunes, and the music library (your own) is easier to navigate. But that's a personal preference. Either way, you get to burn cds, or transfer to a portable device; so either way your music is backed off.

In the end, I like "instant gratification" as in, when the new CD is available, I want it right away. Doesn't get much quicker than a download.

I'd rather buy the CD. Every time I try to download something my computer calls me a bad name. They say you can't push a wrong button on a computer. Well, I must be special cause I sure can.
