There are some supernatural occurances that are ezzilly dispelled as an imaginative story. but there are others that are just to fantastic to dismiss. one is in the folklore of micronesia. it goes that one night, the night before european explorers came to the islands, the gods called on the people that they were leaving and that a greater force was coming a force that would extinguish them, then a bright lite was on the horizon. the next day the explorers came and they brought with them the teachings of the Christian church. the thing that is so fantastic is that there are written acounts from that very genaration.

Hmmm... You're probably gonna think I'm nuts... but here goes...
The culture that I live in has many traditions, many teachings. It is a place where Little People are included in our celebrations, dreams are seen as somewhat divine (given the natural divinity of each of us), and our Grandfathers and Grandmothers (long dead) can walk through the door of the sweat lodge and teach us. The veil, I guess you could say, is thinner here.
What do I believe? I believe in not limiting possibilities and experiences. I believe that the mind is a powerful, powerful instrument, as are our emotions and connections to the world around us. I believe in approaching things with an open mind and dissecting the experience for learning after it has been experienced. Some things have to be believed to be seen... why other things are simply there (seemingly) regardless.

Wow there are some really great answers here! Good Job! I believe in reincarnation,spirits,angels,magic,"others" such as faeries,God/Godess,miricles,mind-over-matter,aliens,shape-shifting,telepathy,e.s.p.,the Saints,and a lot of other unexplainable things....but not Santa,Easter Bunny,Tooth Fairy,or the Great Pumpkin. My theories about any of it is like so many others said;We just believe thru experience and faith.

If I could experience something that I can't explain, that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, then I might believe in it. I think it's out there, it just hasn't touched me yet.

I don't know or understand many of the strange things, events that defy our conventional knowledge, etc. I feel very strongly that what we don't understand about the way the universe works is likely almost infinite.

I believe just because you can't see and touch it doesn't mean it's not there....after all...unless you use a microscope you can't see with you naked eye atoms, cells and stuff like that? I think we just don't know what kind of tool to use yet to see other supernatural things...does that make sense?

its very real, the demons come to see you, and enter in your
body, and make you do what they want you too. right now, the
issue is dealing with the reptillian, repnoid, and snake people.
it dont seem like these people are real, but who knows? i hop
e that none of them are not here where i stay? or that i dont ru
n up on them in my course of travel?

yes..i believe in life after death, angels, spirits, and recarnation.
We on this earth to learn and get closer to God. There are time we get help from the other side..so that is when the supernatural believe come in for me.

Ok i beleive that vampires do exsist and everybody is one in some way..... I beleive that our souls are immortal...My cousin say's that she rememebers stuff from the 30's and she wasn't born till 1960..... I remember things from the 1950's but i wasn't born till 1988...I think that our soulds carry on..
