I think at one time or the other I must have had a betta in a tank with glowlights. I have kept both on several occasions so probably did it before lol.
They should be just fine together. 4-5 glowlights and a male betta would be nice looking in a 5 gallon I think.

right here is the type you identify what you are able to save such as your betta. a million. they gained't n-i-p his fins, like many barbs and a few forms of tetra, like serpaes, will. 2. they don't seem to be flashy and territorial sufficient to entice aggression out of your betta, as different bettas, gouramis and cichlids could. 3. they don't seem to be sufficiently huge to consume your little betta. 4. they gained't outgrow your tank - some fish stated above like clown loaches and angel fish and bala sharks and gouramis are purely undesirable techniques for a ten gallon tank and how that drew 3 thumbs united statesis previous me. My 15 gallon incorporates: male betta, cardinal tetras, corydora catfish, amano shrimp, oto catfish.

Well in a 5 gallon tank you dont have a whole lot of room. With the glowlights you should keep atleast 5 because they are schoolerz. Realistically in a 5 gallon tank maybe you should just stick with the betta.

How many tetras are you thinking? A 5 gallon is pretty small to house a handful of fish. Bettas are pretty territorial, so get the tetras first, then add the betta so the betta doesn't have a chance to claim territory. Good luck!

i have my betta with 5 neon tetras, 5 black neon tetras, and 5 cardinal tetras. he does fine, just add some plants and hiding areas....and always make sure you have 1-2 gallons for each inch of fish. bettas should be in at least 3 gallons of water....so you might just want to add 2 or 3 little glolites.

Tetras are good with Betta's as are danios, as they are not aggressive, and are quite small and harmless, they also don't take to much space. Make sure though, that you have more than three tetras/danios to stop them hurting each other too much
