Rosie has the mental capacity of a garden slug...I wonder if she thought of that while she was hanging upside down...she just spouts very far left propaganda...I guess Rosie must be privy to all kinds of classified information since she KNOWS that the US has a build up on the Iranian boarder...wow the Generals on the ground don't even know about that one...what someone really needs to do is file a law suit against her for undo mental anguish for her wacko 9/11 Theories and her talking about American Troops...hit her in the pocket book and then her "wife" would leave her because she no longer has money...you know that is the only reason she is with her Jabba the Hut looking butt...I think Rosie may need to be committed, because she has lost her mind...or a good beating around the head and neck with a blunt object might knock some sense into her...or him...or shim..or what ever the hell it is....

First, so no one will misinterpret my comments, I DO NOT advocate violence against anyone because of his or her sexual orientation.

Does Rosie O'Donnell ever stop and think what would happened to her, as a lesbian, if she were living in Iran? There would be a good chance that some radical mullahs would be demanding that she be stoned to death.

First off, no I don't particularly like Rosie O'Donell. However, I do have to commend her for standing up and speaking out on issues that the mainstream media either completely ignores or tries to cover up.

I also have to ask myself why do so many people here in the US act as those who have been replying to this question do? Why, when someone brings up something that contradicts what you believe or have been lead to believe, why do you immediately become hostile and shut down? Why is it that no one is willing to hear another version of the story? Perhaps many of you are content with being lead along blindly believing what people tell you but many are not. You know what though, that's OK! It's your life and you have freedoms that allow you to live the lifestyle you choose without interference from others. Calls to silence Rosie by firing her or even hanging her (as Danny Bonaduce has suggested) are calls for silencing and murdering free speech!

Just take a moment to read an article or listen to someone speak without becoming angry. Listen to their whole story without zoning them out and figuratively putting fingers in your ears. Why ignore knowledge, views, ideas or debates of any kind? What can it hurt to listen to a new idea even if you do not agree?

Most people here in the US get their information from the corporate news stations. These agencies are flooding us with what they want us to believe. And ask yourself, how would you know if they were or weren't? What do you have to compare to? is there anyone left that justs reports news and doesn't add opinions? Are there any news stations left that do not report either in an all right or all left fasion? We seem to be a country of war-mongers and the media plays right into that line of thinking.

As far as the British soldiers, no I do not blame the SOLDIERS for anything, just as I would never blame US soldiers. I do believe that the British government did have these soldiers enter Iranian waters for covert purposes. So, it is the British government's fault, not the soldiers. The British (and yes our beloved US as well) have done this numerous time in the past:

* June 2004: An unmanned reconnaissance plane violated Iranian airspace in northeastern Abadan and was hit by Iranian anti-aircraft guns.

*June 22, 2004: Eight navy personnel in three speed boats entered Iranian territorial waters and were arrested by Iranian coast guards; the arrested were released after three days.

*November 1, 2006: Two helicopters, hovering at a height of 150 meters (492 feet), violated Iranian airspace for a total of 10 minutes.

*January 27, 2007: A helicopter violated Iranian airspace over the mouth of the Arvand river and left the area after a warning from Iranian coast guards.

*February 28, 2007: Three navy boats entered Iranian territorial waters in the mouth of Khor Mousa.

Prominent officials such as UN Weapons Inspector for Iraq, Scott Ritter and retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Sam Gardiner have both gone on record to state that a war in Iran already began years ago. Not a public war mind you but US and British funded covert operations intended to undermine the Iranian government. Other generals have threatened to "quit" if a war in Iran is falsely started. This is from the Times(http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/iraq/article1434540.ece)

British/US interference in this region dates back as far as 50 years. In 1953 the CIA and MI6 carried out Operation Ajax (officially TP-AJAX), a covert operation by the United Kingdom and the United States to remove the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED nationalist cabinet of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh from power, to support the Pahlavi dynasty and consolidate the power of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi in order to preserve the Western control of Iran's hugely lucrative oil infrastructure.

I could go on and on here but basically you either have an honest desire to learn of these events or you have read the first sentence and immediately became infuriated with this response. I suggest this if you do not agree with me. Instead of getting angry, posting a comment that has to do with ignorance and violence, and dismissing everything I've written as not true, PROVE ME WRONG. Do the research yourself. I have stated facts - dates, names, places - not just regurgitated opinion I heard on Fox News. Use these facts, do the research and come back and post something that debates what I have written - I dare you, you might actually learn something more than way.

By the way I am Independent - not Republican or Democrat. I'm a white male that was born in the United States and has lived here all my life. I grew up 20 miles from the Nation's Capitol. I'm telling you this because I know some of you are saying "he's a democrat", "he's a muslim", "he's an angry black man", "he's poor" or whatever (which, in itself is sad that people discredit others because of race or class.) No, I'm just an American citizen who is tired of corrupt government, corporate zealot media, people who call themselves "conservative" Christians and then call for war and the blood of others and I'm tired of ignorant people who complain constantly about one issue or another but are too damn lazy to read a book or get off the couch and do something about the changes you want.
