The early Anglo invader were murderers for sure, although i am not sure they were cannibals. They incinerated the Pequots and got themselves massacred for their treachery. Still, cannibalism is usually an argument used by conquerors to justify their invasions. Except for the Aztecs, evidence does suggest they conducted ceremonial cannibalism at an unprecedented scale. I have never heard of proof that Caribe cannibalism was anything other than a Spanish myth.
Hope I was of help.

To the degree that most populations have a small
amount of cannibalism somewhere early in their
family trees - sure.
The same can be said of any large population
group. The majority of the population is not related
to anyone who has practiced cannibalism since prior
to landing in America.
Stop trying to incite riot.

It happened once in the American history. It was the Donnor Party who took a short cut across the Lake Taho area and they got stuck on Donnor pass for the winter. Some families had enough supplies, others didn't, and they did eath the fleah of the dead.

U seem to be asking about settlers and not natives. I havent heard this. In fact, from I heard, the original settlers from england (not spain) simply died from laziness. They didnt liek the idea of growing food to survive, because that sort of manual labor should be slave's work. Anyway, i never heard of cannibalism, and if it did occur, it would be hard to prove. Obviously the native americans eventually decided to assist them, because they realised that guns were a great thing to fight their wars with.

Some were.
However, "American ancestors" can be a bit misleading, since the vast majority of people in America today have ancestors who were not Americans at that time.

I guess we all were, once upon a time, or twice. And when push comes to shove in extremis most of us could be again - regardless of colour or creed - though some might not. You could say there are different forms of cannibalism, anyway. When we consume excessively what others need to live, isn't that a form of cannibalism?

It no doubt happened among some of the native tribes...the newcomers also had a few instances of cannibalism...most notably, the Donner party, and Alfred Packer.

Your explanation of your question is only outdone by those responding who write in such generalities that both you and they are hardly credible. I have never read such nonsense as those responding to your question. They (and you) cite NO sources and seem to be talking off the top of your heads!!
