Why are you protesting the war? He isn't your President, so don't worry about it!!

In fact, I think we should make a law that you can only protest YOUR President. If he is not your President, you are not allowed to question his decisions.

Agreed?

Interesting thought. Maybe change it a little...You can protest if you voted in the election.
Does that also apply to the illegals and their protests.

Your basic premise is invalid. Bush is technically the president so that even if any individual citizen rejects him symbolically that individual is not stripped of any citizenship rights or of the ability to protest, criticize or disapprove. Claiming that “Bush is not my president” is a form of protest and is protected free speech. It would be a violation of the First Amendment to create a law such as the one you are suggesting.

"He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
Teddy Roosevelt

fine, then use your own tax dollars for the war. Oh and BTW, it was the Bush camp that stated he has a responsibility to those who voted for him...so he is the one who thinks he is not the president of ALL americans.

Prez Bush is every American's president. Look, he won two presidential elections. If he was able to convince folks in America's heartland and folks in the South to vote for him, then we as New Yorkers, and any other blue state, have to accept it.

Unfortunately he is the president of the United States.
Isn't it just like a GWB supporter to want to take away our rights.

I love those types. Their hatred of the President is so overpowering that it blinds them to the smiple FACT that George W. Bush most certainly IS their president, assuming they are US clitizens or resident aliens.

ROFLMAO: He might not be but it is still everybody's country and we ALL have the right to say what we want. Freedom of Speech. Or do you want to give that up now. The interesting part of freedom of speech is that I can say what the dickens I like (within boundaries of decency) and you can say what the dickens you like. I personally, do not ever want to give that up. ooohhhhhh your IQ is showing.
