told that I needed five board members to inc. However there is only two of us, is there a way that we can incorporate so that I can open an account in the name of the company so as checks or money orders, etc. for the business (play bills , etc.) will go directly to the account? Can I incorporate with two people?

First, find out who told you that you needed 5 board members and determine if this is real law and not someone's opinion. If it's the law, there isn't anything you can do about it but to get more board members.
