It depends on your state, country and if easter is counted as public holidays. It would probably be the week after if there is to be a week off. This year easter coincides with the end of first term in melbourne (australia) and the kids get the week before and after off. lucky!! I wish I was still a kid.

Kids vacation is always the 3rd week of April even if Easter is in March.

I'm in Ontario Canada and my kids don't get an Easter break. They do get the Good Friday and Easter Monday off though. They do get a week off in March and we call it March break.

More and more communities get spring break totally unrelated to Easter. In fact, I don't know any areas in the midwest or south which get an Easter vacation.

Depends on the school district. and is it private or public? I went to a catholic high school, so we got off the thurs or wed. before easter sunday and we went back the next week.

It varies, the best way to find out would be to call the school in your local area. Mine is Trotwood, Ohio and he'll be out from the 31st until the 9th.
