I sure do. (Sorry about your Dad, Honey) It's been 23 years ago (early heart attack) and I was missing him just yesterday, so much I could almost smell his cologne (Old Spice) and touch his light red hair. I didn't quit crying and couldn't listen to country music for the first ten years after he died and ten years is a long time to be close to tears.

I sure miss my Daddy. He was one of a kind. So was yours Honey. Maybe we'll see them again. That would be worth anything to me. Stranger things have happened. @8-]

My daddy past away 4 yrs. this past Christmas. To me, it seems like it's been an eternity since he died. I have missed him so much. He was everything to me and my boys. I was a daddy's girl, and I think about him everyday and I cry often thinking about him. Going to the cemetery doesn't help, I sometimes find myself watching home videos when I feel like I need to see him, I know he is always with me, but I feel that many of the things that have happened since he has been gone probably would be different today if he was here. I have a copy of the music that was played at his funeral, when I get really sad I listen to it and have a very good cry, it makes me feel so much better. Your not alone, see, I was close to my dad also, and the pain never goes away.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you are surrounded by other people that you love!
My dad had a very serious stroke in March 2004. He has made a pretty good recovery. We were given a second chance...it's a miracle he didn't die...and a miracle that he's doing as well as he is today. I try to remember that this is our second (and probably last) chance with my dad. It's hard to not take it for granted all of the time...I mean with kids, jobs, life in general. But it really did put things into perspective...and he appreciates the things he didn't before.

My Dad died in 1998 at a young age, and my life changed after that day. I thought I would have him around for ages, he died before both of his parents. It;s does get easier, only people you really have loved can make you feel the way you do. The hardest thing is I would love my children to have really got to know him,but they were too young to remember. Think about him and remember everything about him, that way he will always be with you.

I'm sorry for your loss ..be thankful of the wonderful memories you have and count your blessings that you had a good man for a Dad. My father is not a good man and I havent spoken to him in years...no, I do not miss him. I'm thankful that I had a wonderful Grandpa that loved me , he died 6 yrs ago and yes, I miss him very much.

My Dad died in 1982 when I was only 16. I still miss him like it was just yesterday, but I still talk to him when Im down, or going through a tough time. I like to think he is watching over me and helping me get through this crazy life.

I lost my dad almost 14 years ago and yes I still miss him, but he was ill for a long time and by the time he died, it was almost a relief. (I know that sounds awful, but he was in a lot of pain)
