How old is he? I would consider those "stick-on" decals would be cute, but remember, he will grow up and may get into sports or something else. Just make sure when you decorate it, that it's easily changeable. Other than that, I think it's a great way to combine two of his loves.

This is too limiting. If he loves to cook, that could become a lifelong passion and maybe he will be a rated chef. His love for Disney characters is a passing fad of childhood.
His bedroom should be somewhere he can rest and think, not a full time advertisement in gaudy colors.
Try an international theme, with different countries and their cuisines represented. If you use artwork, you can change and update it a lot more frequently and more easily than with a cartoon character.

My son and I went to chef mickeys(Orlando) and he loved it !(he was 5).I think that it would be great and if he loves to cook even better. Go for it!

if he wants it like that go for it! You can always change it when he out grows it...and maybe he never will. I know of lots of adults that love Disney. If he does out grow it..you can change it. Come on people it's not like it's permanent.
