This question , although it sounds directed towards christians, is not so.
What i'm asking is, once you've accepted someone as your guide/mentor/guru/saviour
will it shake your faith in him, to know that he was married ?Does everything change..or do you continue to love his teachings?

Being married takes more responsibility,
ofcourse it doesnt end there.
Why would you marry if not to start a family?
most especially for a loving person as Jesus.
would it change how i feel about him?
Yes! it gives him more respect than he deserves
to devote his time to many followers & family at d same time.

besides, i would put my entire faith on my Dad,
than on my younger single brother.

I am someone who has moved away from conventional Christian beliefs for a variety of reasons, but I have to acknowledge that my beliefs are almost certainly still influenced by my early Catholic upbringing.

That said, I don't think that reading that Jesus may well have been married to Mary Magdalene was a factor in my shifting beliefs, or at least not directly.

I don't think there is any evidence that Jesus tried to hide his marital status (which would be a cause for concern). Rather, I think the evidence points towards the early church trying to hide the evidence.

What would shake my faith, assuming that I were still faithful, would be finding out that Jesus had been an abusive husband.

No it would not. If I found out for sure that Jesus actually had a wife, I would not blame Him for the misinformation. It would be man's doing. Someone in the Church decided to poison people's minds or something? I'm sure it will all be clear to us believers once He returns. Until then, God knows all of our hearts and minds, so I have no fear and no hate about the matter. It would be a shock to most Christians because we were taught differently by MAN. I leave my mind and heart open to what God wants.

This is hilarious man. OK so you ahve accepted that we are all sinners cause some woman named Eve ate some apple. There was this big flood to kill all the bad people but noah perpetuates life by putting everything in A big boat.
We have this salvation just cause some guy who was really cool and magical was tortured to death for a stupid reason.

But he was married??? oh i dont belive anymore!

Pretty unlikely.

It would make no difference in regards to the ontological claims of what is called Christology. The question is not really about the impact of such a relationship on Christ, or even on those who have faith in Christ, but whether or not such an assertion is accurate and if the claim can be adjudicated.

Some Christians would freak out about this, I know my mother did. I persnally doesn't let it bother me. After all he didn't begin his earthy mission until he was 32 years old. Back then people got married in their late teens. The fact that he had a wife matters not. as long as he is seen as the son of God.

The question is whether Jesus was married or not .
His teachings are the thing to be thought of .
Not only Jesus , it is for all religious personalities , philosophers .any leaders .
It is not faith on them what we actually need . What we need is the mind set to follow their teachings if they really gives any uplift to mankind .

To answer your question, no it wouldn't shake my faith. Because marriage wouldn't take away from His divinity. I will say however that the "false theory" of Jesus having a wife is absurd, and they come up with this stuff to take away from His divinity so they can further justify there wrongdoings.

There'd probably be more married couples if he was married. There's a lot of people out there who ignore love from the opposite sex to be just like Jesus.
