How is it fair that people take up the handicapped spaces who are in no means handicapped so that the ones who legitimately could use those spaces due to them being on crutches, in a wheelchair, or some other condition that limits mobility from using those spaces. It may be a hardship for them to go from the car to the store in the first place. Does that mean they should be denied the right to go to the store?
Maybe it's my own bias, and partly my vindictive nature, but I'm the type of person who would call the police should I see a car parked in a handicapped spot without the proper permit. I've done it before. I just think of my mother, who is handicapped, and what she would have to go through should all the handicapped spaces be taken.

The law requires that so many spots be handicapped. Stores really need to be able to judge how many they need. There should not be any more spots than there are wheelchairs in the store. I understand that there are some genuinely hurt people that need to park close, but those that are just too lazy to exercise and loose weight deserve spaces far from the entrance.

If you are on crutches you can ask you doctor to authorize a temporary one. I'm hoping this post is in jest. My mother uses Handicap parking and if you could see the look on her face from the pain she feels from walking even a short distance you wouldn't get frustrated at the number of parking spots. I hope you don't ever need to park there.

If you are on crutches you can get a temporary handicap card until you regain use of your leg......
I am disabled with a terminal illness. What right do you have to tell me to stay home? I have a right to go to a public store and try to attempt to live a semi normal life. When I die...you can have my spot! ok?
You are selfish and inconsiderate about others not as fortunate as you.
I am not being a snot...I am living in the reality of dying...please, allow me to go to walmart and park close so that I can get out once in a while? PLEASE?

Poor baby.... I understand what you mean...
come on guys, I'm handicapped too (recently), and it's great too have spaces for us "crips", but what about all those pregnant women. Now they deserve a spot!!!!
Let's not forget all the teenagers who are too stoned/drunk to barely get to the store.... they need a spot up front. Do you really want them cruising the parking lot for a space?
How about all those athletes who have just finished their triathlon.... GOD I BET THEIR TIRED, why not give them a spot up front.
The list just goes on and on.....

Karma is a *****! beware what you complain about, you are probably one of those who takes up two spots with your car anyways. you also cut people off when you drive, unsafe lane changes almost or causing an accident in your wake (for those people who will need the blue parking spaces after you made them wreck their cars), you probably speed and drive inconsideratly dont you?
why not complain about things that matter in life.
and for the chick who complained about the expectant mother parking, you try walking from accross the parking lot when you are 38 weeks preggers, and see how out of breath you are, and how tired you are when you are done.
get a life folks worry about the real problems in life, like the rapist or pedaphile who lives next door cuz they did no real jail time!

Yeah. But I only hate them when there are 10 of them stretched across the whole front of the store. If people filled them up I would be humble and even help them get out or in. But I get disgruntled when I am perspiring and out of breath,
I am an able-bodied runner too, from a mile-long walk to the door in August!! Do you ever feel like pulling in there and walking in with a fake limp? No? Well I guess I'm a ruthless broad!! @80(

You will be hit by a 12 ton truck and God will let you live, but only because you'll lose your legs and have the capacity to live out your life in a wheelchair, drive a car with handicap controls and because of your delicate heart condition from the accident, have desperate need of handicap parking spaces.
I hope you rot in hell. That would be fair.
