Inner beauty fades and you can't have it as your sole quality on which you rely, what works now won't work when you're 65 years old. Superficial beauty looks good in photos, but it doesn't make you any better than anyone else.
Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, otherwise people you find unattractive would never be relationships! I know a lady that I believe looks like a masculine horse, but her husband thinks she's H-O-T as hell. I don't see it, but he's head over heels in love with her so who am I to judge? I don't think everyone sees me the way my husband does, he's in love and ignores my flaws just like old horse face's hubbie does!
Neither of those statements is a lie in my opinion.

The latter is a bigger lie because the former at least has beauty according to someone but the latter has no beauty on the outside at all only deep inner beauty which cannot be seen.

Pretty much depend on how shallow you are. Real beauty is not in how you look, but how you feel about yourself. Inner confidence, and not casting yourself in the shadow of others is the best judge. I realize it is hard in this day and age to look at yourself as being unique. But you must understand that everyone is unique in mind if not in body. We each have our own perspectives, our own ideas, and our own individual lives. Whether or not we choose to be one of the pack or happy with the individual we are is the biggest choice we can make in life.
