Aliens is a 1986 science fiction / action film starring Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Lance Henriksen, Carrie Henn, Bill Paxton and Paul Reiser. It is a sequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien. Directed by James Cameron from a story written by him, David Giler and Walter Hill, the film is more of a high-paced, action adventure film than the atmospheric Sci-Fi horror of the first film. It was tremendously successful, following Cameron's The Terminator in helping to establish him as a major action director. The film, like its predecessor, was shot in England, this time at Pinewood Studios, with a budget of about $18 million.

Alien could look like anything- they could look almost similar to us or animals on earth or comepletely differnet. It depends on what the conditions, atmosphere, etc it depends what stage they are at in evolution. They could be simple single celled organisms or huge, complex creatures with different senses to us. It is very unlikely that aliens are creatures with large eyes, long, thin necks and bodies, as they are portrayed in many movies, eg ET.
Also, it is posible that there is no life on other planets.Although, there is huge chance that there is life on other planets. Whether they are intelligent, is more of a question. They could just be single-cell organisms or super-intelligent beings.
There is a every chance they could be cleverer than us. Our knowledge is rapidly growing, and they could have had millions of years more than us to develop. They could have discovered everything, the meaning of life and all, and thought it ought best not to contact us.
Whereas they could be single-cell organisms or plants. There could be strange animals, that look completely different than the animals on planet earth. Or they could be distinctly similar.
There could be beings that are close to us on intelligence.
The amazing thing about this is that there are so many different opinions, and ideas, and you can have so much fun guessing.
We may never know, but future generations might. It is possible they will never know either. We could be alone in this universe, however unlikely it is.

According to the incredibly stupid, lame, and fake movies about aliens in the world today, they are known to be green and have pointy heads with giant black eyes. No one really knows though.
By the way, I must admit I was scared to scroll down because I was afraid some freakish picture of an alien that someone posted would show up. Yup, those movies have really gotten to me.

There are many different types of aliens.
The greys are the small gray aliens with the big eyes pictured on the book "Communion" by Whitley Strieber
Others report seeing Nordics that look human.
Those are the ones often reported; but many others have also been reported.

Aliens as living things must be based on some sort of DNA not much different [if at all] from the DNA that specifies what we and all other animals on earth are and look like.
If you consider the incredible variety of animals on earth, aliens could look like anything you could imagine.

If you are referring to what appears to be identical aliens than they are either cloned or artificial life forms. The ability to create any of these would allow them more diversity or an Army/Hive of a One Minded Agenda.

Get it serious!
The one I saw was a man just like me but he had feet similar to a dog's. I saw this boy from a distance & kept looking at him till he spoke something. Even he was doing the same. I did not speak nor did he. After a while, he sighed and just went back behind a tree. When I called him & went behind the tree, I didn't see him.
Don't believe it? Except for me, many others have seen them flying in the sky!

But my experience was different. He just vanished out like that. This happened to me when I was 9 years old, now I am 13 & I still long to meet him & talk to him about his planet. etc. etc.

They look like us, because when they come here they find someone alone, and they take them away. When they come back, the aliens have taken over their brain and walk among us.
I can't trust anyone, and I'm worried that I might be next.

if they are carbon based, maybe a lot like us. just depends. life on this planet earth comes from the unnumbered meteor impacts carrying life bearing materials from vast reaches of space to our planet. these materials came from many different directions and places. we have evolved from these life carrying meteors as have other places in the universe. this explains the mix of life we have here. given an environment, life will find a way. we are a very young planet. these meteors, with their life giving materials, came a long time ago from other places that already had life, a long time ago....see what I'm getting at? life can look like anything, develop in any way and be intelligent in ways we cannot even imagine. evolution is a wondrous thing. gives life and keeps making it better and better. who knows, given enough time, maybe human beings can be classified as intelligent life forms....we'll see....stared your question...that's a start.
