I’m talking about a “normal” person. Two arms, two legs, average build, etc.. It seems so natural and easy. You just kinda float and occasionally move a leg or arm to supplement that. I’m not talking a professional, or even being able to swim a lap. But to tread water? How is it that people can’t do that?

I think the most important thing about learning swiming is not to affraid of water. I leaned to swim when I was just 5 as my parents said and Im a good swimmer now beacuse I dindnt affraid of water at all. and I think the most usefull advise for such a person is to say him\her :"dont afraid of water "one more thing that can help you is to try to learn it when youre a child but We all know that if yore very fat you wouldnt learn it very easily but if you really want to swim well and you love to do it nothing can stop you.

If you're not used to being in the water, you don't feel secure about it...Maybe some people don't have a public place to go swimming whenever they want...so they never learned...Also, there is a difference in swimming in a pool and swimming in the ocean...Its a little movie some people call JAWS...

Why are some people prone to motion sickness, in fear of heights, better at language than math?...The list goes on...
