As long as you didn't act like a tough guy and try to take one of them on, you'd probably be fine. They are only violent if given a reason or a dare. My wife and I used to go to bike week in Myrtle Beach every year and believe it or not, they are more respectful than the groups of golfers are. Yes, they have a bad reputation, but if you don't mess with them, they don't mess with you.

Actually, the Hell's Angels aren't as much the guys you want to get angry today as they were twenty or thirty years ago. A lot of chapters of the Hell's Angels will do volunteer and charity work, and a lot of times help out the unions in strikes. But it all depends on how the individual Angel would react to being hugged spontaneously.
