The female mind baffles me sometimes. I study body image issues of all kinds and one of my first areas of study was the issues of women. The two biggest areas with women I found were weight complexes and breasts complexes.
The diet craze society has women paranoid to the point of panic for gaining a few pounds or being seen eating what they think is "too much". Weight-loss surgery, liposuction and supermarket magazines with waistbands of pants pulled way out in front. Insanity at its finest when there's nothing wrong with being round & full.
The other is the breast issue. From large to small it is a psychological pandemic that has women in disgust of their variant features. The A-cup women lament their smallness & the H-cup women lament their largeness. No one is ever satisfied. The women want to fit some arbitrary mold that betrays their natural admirers. Reduction, augmentation, lift, shaping. Nonsense about "in proportion" & a general dislike of being a unique individual.
Why?

Just wanted to say that I TOTALLY disagree with "John H" though he has every right to express his views. I feel this is the problem that creates the complexes in women. There is NOTHING wrong with being large-chested and there is NOTHING wrong with being flat-chested. Both types have audiences that appreciate that form & revere it. I want this kind of message to be spread amongst women of the world. STOP hating yourself and your looks based on some ignorant current in society. I feel that in order to make lasting change on this we need better representation in the media. From TV to movies to magazines to advertisements to products. Whew NOTHING wrong with H-cups, they are NOT to be ashamed of. A-cup girls love your unique femininity. Had to say this after hearing that guy's comments. And fat DOESN'T equal unhealthy. That's another misnomer I wanted to highlight. Quit being ashamed of your weight, ladies. OK I'm done for now.

For the women who love their looks:: THANK you. We need more of this in our society. Don't change that viewpoint.
To i_love_green: Yes you're right. I'm a man & there are limits to my understanding no matter how much I learn. This is why I will now reference sites done by women with the experience who DO know.
For the large-busted http://www.banbreastreductions.com by a very large-breasted lady named Cherry Brady who dispels the myths about backpain & other things on the breast issue (I wish I could have shown this to you in time, Terri).
For the small-busted: http://www.siliconeholocaust.org/ a site which without a lady named Shirley Goodner wouldn't be possible. All men do NOT like large breasts and you do NOT have to undergo this butchering taxidermy to feel attractive, whole or "normal".

The female mind baffles me and I Am A Female!
I have found that I would rather be a little over weight than be hungry and losing weight. Sometimes I wish that I was a smaller size especially when shopping because society seems so set on women becoming anoroexic or however you spell it. I'm 16, 5'9'' and weigh 170-185 pounds depending on several factors. I'm am generally happy about what I look like, when looking at society however I can see what some women's problems are. I agree with you when you said that there is nothing wrong with being round and full.
As for breasts I like mine, except when shopping have you ever tried to fit a 40-C cup into some of the clothing sizes they make now a days. I can see why people are getting reductions done. The sizes now are smaller than they were years ago. for example a size 11 in Levis fit like a size 13/14 in Aeropostal. And T-shirts a size Medium in Womens fits like an Extra small in mens. Can you even start to see where womens problems start? The only people who win anything are tall skinny with B-cup breasts or smaller look around and imagine you are a women. Society is telling us there is always something wrong with us.
Thankfully I believe what you said. "There's nothing wrong with being round and full" or what I like to say "Real women have curves." I am glad to say that I am probably one in a small percentage that likes both their weight and their breasts and I would never change how I look. Why don't more people enjoy being a little different?

A reduction is mainly for health reasons. Back, neck and shoulder pain can cause health issues and a reduction would ease that pain.
I did not mind my breasts, it was that I had so much back and neck and shoulder pain that I got a reduction done. I have no more back pain now. If I had no back pain with my 38J's I would not have ever gotten a breast reduction.
I loved my size.
Edit:
So because ONE big busted woman says that breast reductions are unneeded, that means that we should not get a reduction? Also looks like a porn stars site, so no wonder why she'd try to sway people away from breast reductions.
How about going to http://www.breasthealthonline.com and go to the main reduction support forum and post up that ban reduction website and see how many BIG BUSTED women laugh at you.
I have NO PAIN since my reduction surgery. Same thing goes for MANY women on the site I've posted here in my answer. I CAN and DO work out, and I've lost weight because of it! When I was a 38J, I would work out every now and then but my back, neck, and shoulders and breasts hurt like hell. I lost weight but didn't lose ANYTHING in the boobs.
After reading the site (and suffering from a bought of laughter, I sure hope you do not use that site as a main source for an argument against breast reductions!) ...
I'd still go through with the surgery, so even if you've shown me the site before I went through it it would have done nothing for my decision.
I do not regret my decision, no matter what sites you show me or what "facts" you may have. No back pain, no grooves in shoulders, no rashes under breasts, no hurting them when I roll over. I LOVE IT! :)
You have absolutely no clue.

We have body issues because when we turn on the tv or open a magazine out pops media images of what a female should be- thin, tanned, shining flowing hair, high firm breasts, flat toned stomach, ect ect. This myth is constantly reaffirmed by the obvious appreciation by the male gender. Women begin to believe that these barbie like models are what men find appealing and thats what we aspire to be. So thus we rush to change ourselves to be what the media tells us we should be. It is very few and far between that we see or hear of men like women with hips or curves or not of a twig stature.

II don't know where you got that info........I Love my Breasts and have been secure with my body. Probably women that are striving to look perfect (usually not for their own personal gratification) are the ones not happy with their bodies! Sure the media & entertainment industries try to define what the ideal female body looks like- leading women that feed into those notions to have distorted body if they don't measure up. I say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and why should we let society define beauty for us?

The grass is always greener on the other side. Every woman with D cup or bigger thinks she needs a breast reduction. And every woman with a B cup or smaller thinks she needs breast implants.
The media portrays predominantly portrays a certain type of woman. And real women in the real world buy into that Hollywood image of beauty.
I say they should be happy with what they've got.

I've never known any adult female who hated her upper body.
The older girls of my generation had a lot of fun enlarging their profile but I'm told children often under nine now recieve
this sort of instruction. Only one of all the opposite sex that I dated had dieted for any length of time. I recall a fine woman
in Florida who was clearly a big bone person with good sexual appitite. I've encouraged all to abandon their paints and engineered support wear because I like the natural look.
Most did so though about the same number continued to have their hair professionally done. The only one who truly
interested me did so with her intelligence. Her father said
she was welcome to work his farm if a man failed to appreciate her few charms, that encouraged her to work
from scholarship to scholarship from east to west, where I
found the lady one night three sheets to the wind at a student dinner party I hosted. Even drunk she was smarter than me!

Well I would have to say that some of us feel like we need to look perfect because of what some men say or do to us. I'm a bigger woman and sometimes I feel I have to lose weight because of what some men/woman say, and the clothes is a big thing all the nice clothing is made for smaller woman. The breast LOL I'm big there to and trust me I dont know why woman who have smaller breast want bigger ones I would give anything to have them taken!!!!! LOL Try carrying them around or shopping for them lol. This is for all the woman that think they need bigger breast you "DONT" want them. Other then losing weight because it is better for your health. I for one "most" of the time is just fine with the way I look!!!! If men/woman don't like the way that someone looks then don't look!!!!! "To the left, to the left" lol!!! Be which ever way you want to be ladies!!!!!

Honey, you really won't understand women until you are actually one. I have my own personal reasons for not liking my breasts, you can't just generalize a reason why women are not satisfied.

Men are obsessed with the size of their dick... I get every day plenty of spam for enlargement and longer lasting and I don't know what. Rarely I see any things for breasts, so your question has me think are they really that obsessed with their breasts? The figure, I agree, my mother and every girl I know laments about it but they never have mentioned to me their breasts...

Wow really goo.d question .N one is ever happy with thiemeleves . I have a hard time with it too. I mean, but i don't think you should just go and get plastic surgery for every little thing. It is lame, but society puts on a big part as women to be perfect.if we weren't so concerned about all the dumb stuff we could actually take time to enjoy life and love it!
