Are the characters talking about the number of people they have slept with or the number of people they have assinated??

John Smith: > How many? Ok... I'll go first, then. I don't keep exact count, but I'd say, uh, high 50s, low 60s. I mean, I know I've been around the block an all, but...
Jane Smith: >312.
John Smith: >What? How?
Jane Smith: >Some were two at a time.

Anybody Know?
Thanks x

That is their assassinations, but scripted to reflect the questions that the counsellor was asking them. Where most couples go through the "how many people have you slept with" question, for this couple it is more logical to ask "How many have you killed", but the answer is designed to sound the same.

It's double entendre-they are talking about the number of people assassinated but the conversation is done in such a way as to imply something sexual

They were talking about the number of people they have killed. Brads character was slightly lower and felt emasculated.
