what is your favourite song by U2 and why and do you like bono as a person i think he is legend because of the way he writes his songs

He IS a legend. You are right! It's refreshing for an artist to have such passion in the music that he write that his fans can feel that passion with every inch of their being. I love Bono and I love U2. They are true humanitarians that channel their celebrity stature into something meaningful.
My favorite U2 song of late is Yahweh. I interpret it as a prayer for the world.

Bono is fantastic. Of course people will say he should stick to music, but if he has the ability, time, money and will to help others, no-one should comment or stop him.
Ultraviolet on Achtung has some amazing vocals.
I really prefer their older stuff when they were just playing music without all the digital enhancements of today. The Unforgettable Fire is incredible as well as Boy and War. I love the raw sounds of a band just playing their instruments.

My favorite song is "One." It's such a simple song at first glance, but I feel like it's also their most powerful.
Bono as a person is magngificent. He's got to be one of the most caring people alive today. People think that just because he has all that money, he's obligated to help out. He doesn't do it for the publicity or anything else. He does it because he has the clout and he truly cares.

I love Lady with the Spinning head from an Achtung Baby b-side. Very good song, and Salome also a bside very very good. I actually like U2 when they where experimenting with their sound. i.e Achtung Baby and follow ups. I don't particularly like Bono, though at least he is using his fame to achieve something. Good for him.

'With or Without You' is my favourite U2 song, and one of my favourite songs ever. It sends shivers down my spine every time I hear the intro.
I like Bono because not only is he a songwriting genius, he uses his power & status to make a difference to the world, like with his 'Red' campaign. :)

my fav u2 song is "one" and I love that Bono cares about people. He does so many wonderful things for charity and for people who really need help. I love that he uses his celebrity for good.

New years day is my favourite its so full of passion and you could almost feel the troubles of ireland when you hear the song, bono is a good man who does a lot of good things, I admire him for what he does.

I love 'One' and also 'With or Without You'. I actually think they're all great, but those one spring to my mind straight away.
I think Bono is cool too, but I sometimes think he might be getting a bit too self-righteous. He's a pop star and yet he acts like a politician a bit too much sometimes.

i think my favourite song by u2 is the one they did with green day. if you meant just u2 singing it, it would have to be bloody sunday. i don't really know whether i like him or not.
