Well as a begining as a true friend u should be there for him and let him know that u'll always be whether he wants to talk about his problem or not. Then you can see what u can do to help whether it's talking, listening or taking real actions. u'll know what to do just by yourself and ur heart will guide u and u'll feel so good if u did what ur heart told u and helped ur friend...sometimes it's hard but it worth...
