NO!....it is highly illegal.....that is why it is called AM...for morning use only...if you are caught listening in the afternoon....then the FCC is going to come after you & make you listen to all animal noises all the time....UGH!...who wants that?...

No. there's a sparkling federal regulation approximately this. while you're caught listening to AM radio after midday, you're punished via having to hearken to climate and site visitors comments purely for no less than 5 years.
