Hi,

Yeah, u can say it's all FAKE.
All the matches and the results are decided long before ......(much like a storyline of a movie).

They do hit in real but if u notice carefully, they hit it in a way that the other person is not hurt much.

As of bleeding caused due to chairs n all, it's jus a scratch of a blade (which the refree provides them in a way that cameras cannot see), nothin else (ever noticed --- the WWE superstars only wear a small band-aid the day next to the one they were hit by a chair or weapon)

Well, I don't know if I would call it fake, as there are many REAL injuries that come from this FAKE sport. It is scripted, which means the outcomes are predetermined by writers. The action you see on the screen can be completely scripted to the point of exactly what happens to having a certain amount of time to create the same outcome, but having the ability to do what you want.
Scripted yes, fake no.

Is wrestling fake? No. Are the matches carefully planned out and predetermined? Yes. Its like watching "Gone With the Wind" and saying yeah but its fake. What is your point and why is the question asked so many times?

All the match results are pre-decided, and they know weeks in advance who is going to win which matches and the belts. Also the matches are scripted and they practice every match beforehand so they know which move to do at which time. It's all choreographed, like theatre.

In saying that, the punches, kicks, moves etc. are all very real and really hurt, and when you see someone getting hit with a chair etc. it's a real chair and it's really hitting them. To create blood, they keep a small razor blade hidden in their boot or in their wristband, and when the camera is not on them, they take it out and make a tiny cut on their forehead to make it look like the chair etc. did it. If you look closely at some of the older wrestler's forehead you will see hundreds of healed up little cuts from 'blading'.

Also the ring is made of wood, so when someone takes a backdrop or a slam, they really are landing on wood which is pretty sore. They land as spread out as possible so their whole body takes the impact and not just their back.

I'm gona say to this answer like I say to everyone else that brings up the issue of fake wrestling, YES, it is scripted, YES there are made up storylines, YES, the competition is fake, but the PHYSICALLITY IS REAL! So unless you've had your rear end handed to you just to entertain people, don't talk trash about it cause you can't do any better!

I still don't know for sure cause I did not try it yet.

However I think it is not fake - just like boxing is not... Even back in time, hundreds years ago, there were more violent sports than wrestling - it took place in the streets with no protection almost at all.

yes it is its entertainment it is all very rehearsed they pull their punches to a single millimeter from their opponents face they know whos going to win what match when and how. There are different ways they fake the blood sometimes there are blood packets hidden in the persons hair if its long and easy to hide or sometimes as somone had mentioned earlier they keep a small blade hidden in their boot or wristband and make a small cut sometimes things dont go as planned if some one doesnt take the move properly they can severly damage themselves
