College Degree Worth $23,000 per year extra
http://www.progressiveu.org/173739-college-degree-worth-23-000-per-year-extra

According to a report from CNN and Associated Press, a government report compiled from 2004 Census data, a college degree gains an added $23,000 per year over a high school diploma alone. The report also states that 85% of adults age 25 and older has a college degree, up from 80% in 2000 and from 50% in 1970.

College graduates averaged $51,554, high school grads $28,645, and high school drop-outs $19,169. The report also lists the average wage of an advanced college degree at $78,093. Although the gap between wage earners in high school and college grads has closed slightly, it still pays to get a degree!
PERSONALLY I THINK HIGHER EDUCATION IS THE WAY TO GO.

2. INTELLIGENCE doesn't always ..........mean college degree.....
It can be the way for a high school drop out to be successful without higher education.

He/She must have the intelligence to be sucessful the ability to perservere and the drive to succeed in time of adversity.
IN OTHER WORDS.........THEY MUST BE HUNGRY FOR SUCCESS, POWER AND MONEY!

You don't need one but it certainly helps. Without a proper education there is only so far that you can go. I am from a family with four generations of doctors and am on my way of being one too, after high school and college. When I am done, I'll be making more than most of you losers! I have a 25 year old second cousin and by this time next year, she will also be making more money than you undereducated goons! No, education is a must and for anyone who thinks that it is too expensive, there are loans. Later!

Hi! Ok! I will try my best to help you!

I don't think that everyone benefits from post-high school education. I don't have a degree and I own Citel Connections! I make a profit of $600,000 USD YEARLY and that is just profit! I makeso much money! Everyne who works for us has no degree even the manager! And he gets $200,000 USD yearly! Than why do we need education? I am making more than teachers with educations! What you have to do is learn what you want and prove yourself to people that you know your stuff and will suceed in this type of work. I know many people have degrees and have bad jobs! That they get a low payment of $50,000 yearly! Now thats bad! I believe that it's all about finding the right oppurtunity and proving your knowledge!

I really hope I helped!

I don't think that everyone benefits from post-high school education. I don't have a degree and I work in the IT dept of a 3.5 Billion dollar company. I make really good money infact the manager of our IT Infrastructor doesn't have a degree. And I know he makes reallly good money. What you have to do is learn what you want and prove yourself to people that you know your stuff. I know people who have gotten degrees and are still working crap jobs and jobs that don't pay as well as mine does. It's all about finding the right opportunity and proving your knowledge.
