Dems & Libs, if we leave Iraq and about 2 million Iraqis kill each other, will you still insist that Muslims are "peaceful"?
Will we still rest assured how "peaceful" Muslims truly are?

Americans must be responsible to put order in Iraq before leaving so that it will not be blamed for the chaos.

I think Muslims want pretty much the same things we want. A nice peaceful place to live, a family, a safe place to practice their faith, and all that good stuff. Another want we share is oil. With Saddam in power, no one had the chance to go after that oil out of fear of what would happen to them if they tried. Now that we've come in and annihilated Saddam and his oppressive regime, all the oil and the revenue it generates is up for grabs, or at least they think it is. The Shia think if they can cause enough chaos and kill enough American troops, that eventually they'll break our will and we'll leave. Unfortunately, they're wrong. Even if we do decide to "pull out" we'll still have a large u.s. presence in Iraq and the region to guard that precious oil. We started a war in Iraq for the same reason the shia and Sunni's started a civil war in Iraq. Oil. So when you get down to the heart of things, Muslims are about as peaceful as Christians.

Youa re making two assumptions to state your point which may not be true. 1.) That 2 million Iraqi's would lose their lives if we withdraw. 2.) That democrats assume, on the whole, that Muslims are peaceful. I believe Muslims are peaceful, as individuals, but, their politics and fascist hatred has led their leaders to ascribe to violence to wrest their will onto others.

Lets see we have had 2 world wars that caused the death of millions and millions of lives how many did the muslims start or end for that matter.
