Foster Care and Orphanage Reform???

1.How do we presently take care of (homeless and parentless) children in our society?
2.What are your recommendations on improving the care of these children?

Funds should be established to take care of these children, it is not their fault as they are the innocents. .

There are currently shelters that will take in families with children so that the family is not only provided a place to stay but they can also keep there children with them.

I think that a way to improve the system is to provide more affordable housing. There are family that have jobs and are homeless because they can't find affordable housing.

Also there need to be more shelters for families and they need to be able to stay for longer periods of time.

Lots of children end up in foster care simply because of homeless and not because the parents are unwilling to care for them.

Street children must be adopted by the Welfare Office. The Legislature must make laws proving funds and procedures for the care of orphaned children and parents responsible must be meted the proper penalties.
