It's good that you save it, because splurging can create more misery for you. Money cannot buy happiness, but it can help your life be more fulfilling. I think it's natural to miss your life as it was before. I constantly look back to where I was 10 years ago and wish I was there again. But what's more important is that I also look to the future and wonder what I can do to make myself happier than I am now.

Money doesn't need to be part of your equation. Money is a tool, not a lifestyle. Being rich is a state of mind more than anything else. I don't know how to tell you what would make you happy because that varies on the individual. But whatever you do, do not let the money create more problems for you.

I am a firm believer that happiness comes from within. Now that you have the resources why not do some of the things you've always dreamed of doing? Travel, give to charities, take lessons, do something fun and exciting to spice up your life. If you just sit on your money and count it all the time you will be miserable. I think saving for retirement is necessary, however, why put all the money away and then wait until you are too old to enjoy it? You can't take it with you. Get out there and enjoy life. As a disabled, struggling person, I have a hard time feeling sorry for you, but I do hope you will start to enjoy your life more. You never know what the future holds. Live for today!

Well you need to come to the realization that money has no bearing in it at all. So forget about how much you have and concentrate on what the problems are.

Having money just means you can be in a more physically comfortable misery.

You need to find that mentally happy place that money doesn't buy.
Attitude.
Outlook.
Perception.
Situation.
Conditions.
These all play a significant roll in your happiness.

For example:
You have money to buy bread and you never even think of it.

If you had no store to buy the bread or the flour to make it then you would be sad.
You have the money for it but no where to get it.

You need to find out where "the store" of your needs are and then go fill them.

Is it your friends from before?
Was it less stress when you were not wealthy?
Were you able to have more free time?
Things like that.

Happiness comes from within you have to be happy with yourself to be happy in you life. Find out what is making you so unhappy money is not the be all and end all of everything money is not going to give a hug when needed it won't cuddle up to you in bed it can't give you love.

Look deep inside and find out why your not happy.

Good luck with it!

Now you know, money can't buy happiness, it's a state of mind.
Maybe you can consider helping out your local animal shelter. You would make all the dogs happy. Their tails would show you their appreciation!!!

i dont know the answer to that. Maybe it because im still young and dont know the real value of money yet. However maybe your unhappiness is due to something else in your life not money as you say it hasnt changed your lifestyle. on the other hand maybe your unhappy because you want to spend your money!!!

Maybe you would feel better about your self if you gave some to charity or help the homeless people at the shelter nearest to you.

I know, I know, I know. What a burden you have, let me share your load. That way you will be happy that you made me happy, and I will be happy as well.
