Scratty. A combination of scruffy and tatty. Made up quite a few really. Even used some in essays without getting penalised. The point of language is communication. If you make up a word and it is obvious what it means you have communicated and that word is valid. You don't have to be Dylan Thomas Hardy to do this.

Not really but I do use the word 'mashuno' alot which is not a real word but i heard the sims say it quite often as a term of surprise or to call someone.

So I like it!

surely! there is constantly FUBAR, yet i will not take credit for that be conscious. at the same time as i'm engaged on the novels i'm SF/adventure writing, I even could continuously make up words and describe the object in precise element. Harry Potter & acquaintances realized magic spells, and they were no longer in any dictionary. t

I normally make up words, then people steal them =(
So now I just use normal words with a secret meaning to certain people.

For example
Sqiggle and Lubs means love for my girlfriend
Sushi means Cheers to drinking pals.

I made one up ages ago - "driblet", a very small amount of water. Then two years later, I saw it in a dictionary, so it must have been a word already!

My daughter used to call milk, gnee.. Buts she doesnt anymore... was just cos she couldnt say milk... so i guess that doesnt count!
My hubby also calls the sleepy stuff in the corner of your eye in the morning GOWL. I think he made that up... No-one else seems to know what he is talking about!

yes my best best friand has made up her own word called sniffles it means that ur sad n lonley but noone had betta use it lol
