I just got married and am still on my honeymoon high. The point of a honeymoon is not just for sex. Yes that is a big part but not all. The point of a honeymoon is to separate yourself from your friends and family and all that is familiar and escape to a place unknown. You do this so you both can experience new things together. It is a time to focus on that person to which you pledged your life to. It is not just all about the physical, but the emotional and mental as well. The key is to let that person know that you love them unconditionally.

In case of arranged marriages , it is an effort to look happy where as inside you are feeling bored and awful wondering is this we marry for? That first touch we spend 1/4th of our lives anticipating about turns out to be a damp squib and one has to put so much of effort in consummating successfully that one tends to get bored and tense. But during this time you get comfortable with each others body and personality and it is after the honeymoon that the real fun and happiness begins.Don't feel dejected if nothing happens!

Honeymoon is nothing but to drink honey each other in moonlight and they come together and touch each other and do what not and love, play game and eat all sweets and sometime drink and dance and enjoy of all they wish and want and desire for thier happiness and to be a happy couple after their marriage.

Although to have sex is a part of honeymoon. But there are so many things to be done. They understand the nature of her/his betterhalf, they try to reveal their past life's experience. They plan how to adjust with the nature of their relatives like parents, brother, sister and in India they try to know how they will adjust with all forthcoming complications in relations.

This is the time to discover each other, probably to know each other better and try and explore SEX. Most of them don't even achieve that as this is the first time they are trying and discovering Sex.... This is what happens in India when you are on a Honeymoon.... Always trying and Discovering!!

The sex part is a given.
Next on the agenda is waking up to reality and the questions : is that all there is , did I make the right decision, am I too young for marriage, am I too old, will I get too much sex or not enough, will my spouse cheat on me, will our in- laws leave us alone, will I loose my identity and Independence, what if it doesn't work, did we get enough cash presents to pay for the wedding, what did aunt Mary give us, did the x Lover show up, how much for a divorce, and lastly, how did we look ?

Umm, they have sex. Most of them do anyways. I know I will.
That and a little R&R, sightseeing etc. I think it depends on where they go and what they want to do on they're honeymoon. It's just like a vacation.

It gives the opportunity to both of them to understand more closely that could lead to have them a married life. It includes love,hatred, sex, thoughts and belives.
They try to get open up as much as they can, offcourse sexual positions and lot many things.
Tour and travel is the other things they learn from each other. It gives ample time for both of them to understand even the food what they like or dont like.

they both are full of ideas and bits n pieces of knowledge given by their family friends n relatives on sex and other issues..on a honeymoon they try to figure which ones are true and how wonderful their wonderful match is....its basically a testing time put in a romantic and charming period..
