I took a day off today, because i felt i needed 'Time Out' is that selfish of me? do you ever listen to your body when it says i need time out?.... gotta be kind to ourselves right?

Today is a day off for me this week. It's wet and cold outside so I'm taking time out to refresh from a busy week and decided to respond to your question ! There's nothing selfish about recharging the battery. The demands of life can wait till that's done.

well i do agree with you but seeing as how i in a way have been in time out for the last year or so, I'm ready to go nuts and enjoy this weekend all that i can, I'll get plenty of rest when my body drops

I work for 911 so I cannot decide not to come to work if I don't feel like it although sometimes I wish I could.

If you dont then your given permanent time out for acting up!....definately need you time!
