Daniel Seti, I'm merely asking a question here, not stating my opinion.

No it does not and if the UK.gov continue their nonsense in trying to make an anti Israeli Government remark or statement the same thing as antisemitism, then they are on a hiding to nothing. It is yet one more nail in the coffin of our freedoms and liberties, hard won by my father's generation of WW2.

The reason why UK.gov is going down this stupid route to ban anti-Israel remarks by calling them anti-Semitic, is because there is now an awareness of the rise of antisemitism in our schools and colleges - esp Unis etc.

The Israel gov can go to hell. As for the people of Israel, so you made a bad choice already, but i forgive you. Next time please vote sensibly.

What happened to Israel in recent years is a disgrace. All that messing about in Lebanon to no effect. Israel needs another Moshe Diane. A quick flip through the English Bible soon reveals a whole bunch of top of the range Israeli generals - like Joshua for example. Please elect such a man as PM. If only.

Those of us who are neutral and are also understanding of ethnics and other cultural studies know that most nations have more than one ethnic group as inhabitants. In fact, Arabs are Semitic too and some inhabit Israel. Migration puts Jewish and Arabic peoples in many countries.
Jews formed Israel as a nation and Jerusalem contains ancient reilgious architecture for all 3 Abrahamic faiths.
For Jews, Christians and Muslims. The politicians of Israel are Jewish and receive back-up from American Jews but Israel eas created by Jewish people returning to the Eastern Mediterranean after the war ww2.
The difference between Judaism and the other 2 faiths is that the breed and creed are the same, give or take exceptions
Muslims and Xtians can be of any ethnicity.
To be anti-Semitic covers the Arabic world as well, technically. To be anti-Israel means that there is territorial conflict and this does not necessarily mean being against Jewish residents elsewhere in the world. I live near a Jewish establishment and I am known to Jews in high places. One of the nicest cricketers that I know is Australian but I have it from reliable sources, a Jewish cricket afficianado, that the Aussie is Jewish. I have many Muslim friends at cricket etc. Most are from Pakistan originally which makes them Indo-Aryan. Some are from India ,Sri Lanka and Bangla Desh even Africa. One or two from Iran and other lands too. The psychology behind hatred is more xenophobic than religious
but the combination of various things driven by propaganda exacerbates situations and creates crises. If more people considered the things that they have in common than harped on about their differences, then their lives could be less problematic.

No, but I guarantee some idiot somewhere will play that card if they don't like what you're saying about Israel [I'm afraid the same goes with many other kinds of racism]. And they'll be another hardliner or ignorant PC apologist to back 'em up.

Lets hope that Israel and the Arab league can come to some settlement soon

Well no, anti-semetic, is being anti the Jewish people. There could be Muslims, Catholics and so forth living there. not many I'm sure but even so, anti-Israel is geographic, anti-semetic is the world wide population of those who practice the Jewish religion.

Not necessarily, but a lot of people who have trouble with Israel as a country tend to be anti-Semitic, and they try to cover it up as being just about the policies of Israel.

What makes a person Anti-Semitic is hating the religion not the country. The people not the land.

No it's two different things! The actions of a government do not necessarily reflect the ideal of the people.

To be Jewish is your history as properly as your faith. that's why the religious ingredient is available in. all and sundry is so actually indignant presently. Political correctness has in simple terms gotten out of hand.
