In what way were they controlling?

Yep, but I only recognised it after we split up. He was emotionally controlling, I wasn't allowed to have my own opinion or show any emotions he didn't approve of and he was physically controlling, I wasn't allowed to go where or see who I wanted to. He decided all of that. I felt awful towards the end of the relationship and started to do things behind his back because I didn't have his permission, then he broke up with me. Only then did I realise he was controlling me, and breaking up was the best thing for me.

Dejavu right here i understand the sensation & I walked away. ideal element I ever carried out. he will by no capacity exchange i will enable you already know that by way of adventure. have self belief me you would be a fool a huuuuge fool to stay! yeah, didn't last long. I literally laughed in his face trying to tell me what color nail polish to wear and I should lose 5 pounds. I should have told him when looking for someone to control make sure they're not stronger than yourself.
