As others have written, the airport is the same; the two terminals are different. You will exit the "Anna terminal" which is the international terminal and as you exit out of customs, you will get out and all you have to do is turn to your left and follow the pavement on the same building. You will cross the windows of various domestic airlines including Jet, Kingfisher, Indian, Sahara, GoAir etc and you will first see the entrance to the departure area of the "Kamaraj terminal" which is the domestic airport. If you cross this area towards the end of the building you will see the entrance to the arrival area of the domestic terminal.

Hope you find this information sufficiently useful. Have no anxiety. You dont have to hire any transport and neither do you have to look for any coaches (there simply are none!). You have to walk about 150 metres from the doors of the international arrival to the doors of the domestic departure area.

Welcome to Chennai.

Chennai does not have separate Domestic and International Airports. Both are in the same Airport Buildings.

Both the airports are together. You just have to ask around, and find out from someone working at the airport how to get to the domestic air port.
I'm sorry, this is all I know

Free coach service provided by Airport Authority of India will be available between both the airports. If you do not want to wait for free coach service, you can just hire a taxi. Both the terminals are nearby.
