When you abandoned the homosexual lifestyle, you did indeed please God, because you repented and turned to Him. God created us to be together, man and woman, that is how it is supposed to be. I think you realize this. But you are being tempted into going back into a lifestyle that you obviously were miserable in, or you would not have left. You show me that you have a heart for God, because you care what He thinks, and that's good.
You have to do two things....you must fight the temptation to go back to a lifestyle that caused you so much problems. And secondly, you must pray to the Lord to assist you in resisting this temptation. Look dearheart, Satan is going to try to tempt you in your "weakest" areas. And this one is probably a weak spot for you. But with God, all temptation can be resisted. You have to want to, and you have to ask God to help you. Do it, and He will, I promise.
God loves you........and yes, He's pleased. And He wants you to listen to His words. Please do it, and you will truly be blessed.

I feel very sad for you. Isn't the fact that you are thinking of girls telling you something??!! Why do you want to be with a man if you aren't attracted to men? I'm not a religious person but my brother is and he believes that God & Jesus love you regardless of a your sexuality. My brother supports the fact that I am bisexual. He also says that God & Jesus would be proud of me for the charity work I do & not preoccupied with who I find attractive. Anyway, what I guess I'm trying to say is just be yourself mate and be happy. Find yourself a nice girl and try and free yourself of the guilt you feel for being a lesbian. There are religions that don't care what sexuality you are and they are there only to celebrate God & Jesus. After all, isn't that why you go to church? Let love into your heart. You have the right to be happy.
There are so many religions out there that have a lot to answer for who make their followers feel less than human through guilt.
*By your last entry (additional information) I don't know what you want people to say? All I know is if I were you I wouldn't want to live an unhappy life. What are your choices? Firstly you can be with a man and be unhappy. Secondly, if you don't be with a man and you also don't want to be with a woman because of religious reasons, you will be single for the rest of your life. Lastly, you can wake up to yourself, get a reality check and get a girlfriend.
I think you have been brainwashed and had the religious scare tactics of burning in hell pounded into your head. This isn't going to happen just because you find the girl of your dreams!

I think God would much rather you be yourself. You can't be something that you're not. You can't change the color of your skin so why would you force yourself to be with people that you're not attracted to? The people who tell you that being gay is wrong aren't God. Only God can judge you. No one else can. If you're gay, that's between you & God. People can assume you're going to hell all day long, that doesn't make it so.
Be who you are. It's so much easier to be yourself in life. Living a lie isn't living at all. You're denying what you really are and at some point, you're going to go insane if you keep repressing it. Only you know if God is pleased with you. No other person can answer that question because none of us are God. Just be yourself and be safe. God wants that more than anything else. He doesn't make mistakes and He doesn't want you to think something is wrong or bad because people tell you it is. He knows your heart and that's all that really matters.

You need to realize that you are being emotionally abused by your church. All the hallmarks are there: they tell you you have a problem (you don't), they tell you it's your fault to explain why you're miserable, and then they tell you that they're the only ones that can fix it. God's love for you is perfect, and he wants you to love others. Do you think you could really make yourself love a man? That wouldn't please God, I don't think.
Love God, and love yourself, and then you can know what you really need to do.

Tweety, you sound really confused. Burning in the lake of fire, burning in eternal hell. Maybe you're really afraid of burning, and nothing else?
Be who you are. Don't let anyone, or any Deity dictate how you're going to live your life, who you're going to love. Also, remember, denying your love to someone could hurt them deeply, and you'd also have that on your shoulders as well. Accept who you are and try to remember that God created you in his/her image, and obviously that image was a little bent.

Stop listening to those priests who think they have all the answers...read the bible for yourself...you'll see that all that Jesus preaches is that you should love your neighbors as yourself and that you should not judge...
I'm a lesbian and I'm very happy with my life! Don't need a new one!

there is nothing wrong with being gay
i do not see why god would care who you love, especially since it is not a choice
in fact i think the only thing god would have a problem with is the hate that lgbtq people face, not the fact that they have a sexual orientation/gender identity that doesn't conform to society's narrow views
i really hope that you can get some help and realize that it is ok to be gay

Yes, He will forgive you, If you are willing to put aside the lifestyle; which is in contrast of and breaks HIS Laws.
