y=-6 it has zero slope because it's just a horizontal line.

x intercept: make y=0: 2x-5(0)+10=0 ==> 2x = -10 ==> x = -5 y intercept: make x=0: 2(0)-5y+10=0 ==> -5y = -10 ==> x = 2 slope: get 2 factors and then discover m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)... we've already got the factors (-5, 0) and (0, 2) so: m = (2 - 0) / (0 - (-5)) = 2 / 5 = 0.4 for the graph, i will put in the variety y = mx+b : 2x-3y+12=0 ==> -3y = -2x-12 ==> 3y = 2x+12 ==> y = 2/3x+4 from that, all of us understand is a on the instant line on account that we've x to the 1st potential... then we purely want 2 factors and we draw a line that crosses them... we are able to get the factors (0,4) and (0, -6) (intercepts)... then merely discover the factors and draw the line... desire that helps...

y=-6 which means the graph is a straight line parallel to the x axis and cutting the y axis at (0,-6).

y = - 6 is a horizontal line that passes thro`the points (0 ,-6),(1,-6),(2,-6),(-1,-6),(-2,-6) etc.
It is a horizontal line with gradient(slope) m = 0

slope is zero

bec the eq for slope is y=mx + b. *x being the variable, m the slope and b the y intercept..*

since when you trtansform the eq to a 'y' form it becomes y=6
or y= ___ + 6... because there is no mx.. or an x variable.. so there is no m, only a b(y int) so the slope is zero

Eqn of line is :Y=mx+c
Here the form is y=-6.
Thats why the slope of line is 0.

y+6=0
==>y=-6
since the equation has no x variable so it is parallel to x axis

from the equation,
y+6=0
y=-6
the gradient is zero because y=-6 is a straight horizontal line
