Hezbollah is quoted as a terrorist organization.

Question 1

Hezbollah is supported by most of the Shi3a in Lebanon who are representing arround 20 % of the Lebanese population in Lebanon.
Therefore Hezbollah is gaining some christians supporting.
(they recently allied with Michel Aoun who use to have the christian majority)

Question 2

They should disarm forcibly or not. By being armed they are highly contributing to the instability in Lebanon (political and economical).

Question 3 and 4

They are already integrated as a political party and have 2 deputies in the Lebanese parlement.
Military, they should be integrated in a united Lebanese army and not integrated as a separate wing of the Lebanese army.

Question 5

Last summer war lesson was that Hezbollah cant be elliminated.
The only available acceptable option is to integrate Hezbollah militia to the army.

I don't support them nor any other armed militias. And yes, I have been saying this before the Syrians withdrew from Lebanon and nobody dared to sit next to me in college when I used to say it out loud. It's time the Lebanese have a state.

Should they be supported by the Lebanese?
I cannot force the Lebanese to support or not support them. It is up to them

Should they be forcibly disarmed?
No. Because that cannot be done and it will end up in destructing Lebanon

Should they be integrated into the government of Lebanon?
Yes as long as they are a political party just like any other party & are disarmed. I believe that persecuting someone will only push him to the extreme.

Or Something else?
nothing else

Please tell me what you think:
I just did.

Thank You very much for making this Answers board more interesting.

Should they be supported by the Lebanese?
Hezbollah are Lebanese too...and they out-number everybody else...so they have their supporters 1/3 of the Lebanese population.

Should they be forcibly disarmed?
I wouldn't like to be around when they forcibly disarm them...and who dares to disarm them, even Sibi Levni (or whatever her name is) said they cannot be forcefully disarmed...I think when the terms Nasrallah put are met he will give up his weapons.

Should they be integrated into the government of Lebanon?
They have the right to be integrated in the governement since they represent a big chunk of Lebanese population...we are seeing the result of them not being fully represented as they see it.

Or something else?
Peace

They have their own agenda ... they have no thoughts for the Lebanese people just their own power , control & influence . Yes , the Lebanese Government should use the UN soldiers presence to take control & disarm this private militia.
As far as intergration is concerned, how do you integrate a group that is controlled by external forces ?
No, get rid of them , whatever the immediate cost or they will continue to be a stumbling block to progress in Lebanon ...or worse !

i visit target to be common sense ok (no offence for all of us) to have a extra valuable lebanon: - take out Hezbollah weapon - take out palestinians weapon (from the moukhayamet) - Lebanese military should be extra knowledgeable and performance extra valuable akhle2 - provide up steeling vehicles and sending them to Britel - provide up merging the religion with the authorities - imagine lebanese no longer iranian nor american i dont help any body in lebanon yet from time to time i imagine that really an outstanding form of causes makes me imagine that hizbollah are bothering me, they made a warfare in 2006 for lebanese ASRA in israel detention center and there are 1000's of lebanese in syrian detention center and they do no longer some thing about it...they purely help them. What they have executed in beirut also became some thing poor...

Should they be forcibly disarmed? Yes.

Should they be integrated into the government of Lebanon? No.

We can't trust them and the question is, Are they really Lebanese? Or from Palestian of 1948 and Iran of 1950.

I am telling you that as an Israeli, that a belligerent Hizballah, operating separately from the government of Lebanon, is no good for the country's peace and security. Kidnapping Israelis and launching cross border rocket attacks against Israeli population centers is no way of promoting peace and security. I know many of you will disagree with what I just said, which could result in another game of cat and mouse, but I am spelling out for you, from the Israeli perspective, the only reasons that Israel would have for attacking Lebanon: namely that their towns and cities (mostly Arab towns, by the way) have been attacked by katyushas for the last 6 years+ (since Israel withdrew from Southern Lebanon) and that the Lebanese government has either been unwilling or incapable of asserting Lebanon's sovereignty and ending these attacks, forcing Israel then, do its job. Last summer's kidnapping of the soldiers was the spark that lit the fire. That Israel is so concerned with the welfare of two soldiers has to do with protecting morale. Kidnapping a soldier or a civilian from Israel will draw the most extreme responses, misexecuted as some of these responses are.

We have nothing against Lebanese people as you can see:

right on with Smutty...

I got into this question and I thought: "hey, i can post my opinion..." It has already been posted....

It seems like they want to force the rest of the country to follow their ideology and yet be their sacrifice....

Yes, we do share the country with them. But did they!! When everyone was talking about lebanon and how there is harmonious living between different religions, there aalso has been a side of beirut that was, still, and obviously will always be owned and ruled by them. u'd never know what's happening in there, it's like a unit on its own. A country inside our country... Yet every person who is from their same doctrine, happen to be nice and helpful to their own people (people from their doctrine) and somehow manage to come to other sides of beirut and ask for discounts and help and they get it, we do it for them under the name of humanity and under the name of "libanism" (new word..) And for some reason, they use our kind hearts and when we go to their shops or ask for their help. they don't give it.

Now i'm not dissing them or their doctrine, neither digging them. There are lots of members between them who happen to have true manners and who don't forget who helped them, and they're always true to themselves and their country. But what happened and what's still happening that make me admit the general idea that says they only like their own doctrine and people from their own doctrine... they never liked the rest of us... Oh, well.... it's their own problem...

& Despite all, they think they're in a war..... now.. where they're allegedly protesting... oh i'm sorry the place where they have made their home... Come on... what is that!!! is it truly war!! i've been to youtube and saw a clip of Haifa wahbi after the war with Nishan and she was saying how much she respected Hassouna... The comments couldn't ge any lower. where obviously a 14-march was barely using any insults.. the Hezbollah ally was showering him with insults i couldn't believe what i was reading.... Is it worth it for lebanese people to fight over!! what are we fighting over!!! Why are we fighting again...?? for the court!!! why??? a man was assassinated and there's a court to see who killed him and who was involved.. it doesn't get any simpler than that, he was a prime minister, therefore it becomes a governments' issue, as in international questioning over who killed him.... If a common man happen to be killed in the streets, it's a inside court that will happen and the questioning happens inside the country, no governments are going to wonder y he was murdered..... THIS IS A MAN IN THE GOVERNMENT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.... so their protesting downtown is for what??? to stop the court!!! why are they scared!!! it makes u think...... are they involved... if they weren't, they wouldn't have opposed it...

Ah, well. my saying about whether i'm with them or against them doesn't change a thing... not their opinions about us that they've been coloring and now they appear for hwat they truly are.... neither their protesting downtown... can u belive they allow (enjoyment marriage) (zawaj el-met3a) for the men downtown as if it's war... IT'S NOT 7ALAL, IT'S ADULTERY...

God Shall Judge Everyone For Their Opinions... Me, You, and THEM.... in this life or the after... i will be enjoying Justice...

You are referring to them as if they were some aliens who have just arrived to Lebanon. We share a country and they have the same claim to it as me.

I might sometimes disagree with their lebanism ( if there is such a word) but it's not my place to grant them anything or not, participation is their right just like it's mine.

I do think that they should disarm, but not *be* disarmed.
